The Crochet & Lace

Crochet and lace have been around for forever, really. But suddenly this year, they've become one of the major interests of the owners of the world of fashion. Us eastern ones have seen it become part of our wardrobes only yet, as sleeves of our kameez/dresses however, I believe there is much more to it than that and a complete crochet/lace dress should be a must have this season.

The White crochet looks good for a dressed down look, with blazer and over-sized bags.

The Black crochets, however, give a different more edgier look compare to the simpler white and I feel it gives more room to be played with.
Though.. Pixie here works the white dress exactly as I'd picture a black one..
The denim shirt dress on top, wayfarers, the necklaces and ofcourse the signature quirky Pixie Lott hair make perfect usage of the crochet dress! ----->

Though this black dress above has to be my FAVOURITE one as yet. Whats not to love about this Block Seven black crochet and net dress. Thanks to my friend Daniya for actually buying it! Looks absolutely sultry yet classy.

Though Seinna here manages to show off even crochet can be done in colours!

But obviously nothing is complete unless there's a bit of sparkle in it. So here goes, though yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Taylor, but I have to admit, this dress is a winner!

Getting mine stitched NOW!

The Big Brown Bag

Finally, this brown bag has earned place in my most wanted. Whether dressed down or classy, the brown bag helps work any outfit. It's certainly going to be replacing the greys and blacks in closet very soon. Yes, some may consider it an outdated accessory, but really, nothings better than a good looking accessory with utility. The bag shown above is Botkier James Tote in Cocoa.

As seen on:

Fox seems to be obsessed with Botkier.

The Denim Shirt; a new essential.

The Denim Shirt, as been around for practically years, only now I feel its a great key piece to own! The light fabric especially helps beat the heat. An awesome unisex piece of clothing, though obvious, some of us girls would prefer more tailored styles!
Mary-Kate Olsen shows off a simple version of this chic style -as most would probably prefer!- the shirt paired with black skinnes and wedgies.

Chris Pine here with the light/dark denim-on-denim uses the shirt for a very laid back, casual look. But Zac here uses a similar shirt for gentleman perfection, pairing it with the sleek tie and tailored black pants (another important item guys!!)

However, some of us -like me- prefer to fool around a little with the plain shirt.. and the catwalk makes that seem ABSOLUTELY EFFORTLESS. The detailed tailoring (left) is kind of a little too much for me, but the black gives a good base. The grey with denim-on-denim tones the shirt down a bit but plays the dark and light hues well. It's a little hard to chose between the looks compiled here, for me, honestly, but since my love for leather is crossing the edge a little, I would have to go for the right most. AGAIN, a tailored look but the black and white just give it the right twist.

All in all this is one piece that should be well considered as the latest essential.
